The story so far

I studied Technical Illustration and Graphic Design in Leamington Spa and then Swansea.


1987 - 1989

I was recruited as an illustrator and graphic designer by the small Leicester-based studio, Artpoint.


1989 - 1995

Seeking to build on and develop my graphic design skills, I accepted the position of Art Director at WLK&M, a Leicester-based satellite of London sales promotion agency, WLK. Following a management buy-out in 1994, the company was renamed Forefront Ltd., at which point I became a board member of the company.   


1995 - 2022

Caboodle Creative was formed - my own design studio. 25 years on, and we are still here... having worked with some amazing individuals and companies, building some wonderful partnerships with people I can genuinely call friends.


2022

Caboodle Creative rebrand and new website - NOW CreateGraphics... 



Embracing the digital age

At college I was always a year ahead of those that got to play with computers, so all my training was in the traditional way using pencil, pen, paint brushes and airbrush on paper!!!


Whilst appreciating my traditional training I have embraced the digital age, allowing projects to be turned around at speeds that could only have been imagined when I started out. I believe my early training is still invaluable today.


I continually invest in the very best Apple Mac hardware and subscribe to the very latest software to enable me to stay up to date.
